This is the best Jamaican available outside of Jamaica with what I've experienced. In fact, this is as good as it gets as I have tried Jamaican food in Jamaica and didn't find anything to be considerably better than the food here. If you are new to New England, avoid the overhyped Jerk place in the Cape and come here. I've had some decent Jamaican in Central MA but this is the only place I've tried that not only gets the sauce right, the chicken is tender and has the smokiness many places are missing. Jerk chicken, Curry chicken Saltfish and Ackee are all spectacular and authentic as it gets. Service has been mixed with some employees nicer than others but that doesn't matter to me as the food is worth an hour drive to make up for some less desirable attempts at Jamaican I've had in the last week

This review is on the oxtail dinner.
The restaurant is tiny and served cafeteria style. They have 5-6 small tables if you want to dine in.
The customer service is over the top friendly and the music gets you in the island vibe.
The food portions are very generous. I had a medium oxtail and it was plenty.
The flavor was good and they add lots of sauce on the rice. I just wish it had a little heat to it.
Overall this was a very good plate of oxtails and I left very satisfied.
Highly recommended for your island cravings. -

This is OFFICIALLY my, "Go To" spot. The food is always fresh and delicious. Make sure when you order that you speak slowly. Great juice selection and you can sit down if you fancy

Flames definitely disappoints. Came today at around 630pm and they were out of jerk chicken and beef patties. How are you completely out of food? Asked for oxtails, nothing. Left disappointed. This places closes at 10pm. It's like they don't want your money or something.

I ordered the medium jerk chicken plate with yellow rice and cabbage. The jerk chicken and rice were really good. It is a bit spicy so fair warning, especially if you get the jerk sauce on the rice. Cabbage was solid as well. I also ordered cocoa bread that I was not impressed with. I've just had better cocoa bread as far as Jamaican spots go.
